Hunting seasons:

Alpine ibexes: 01.08.-15.12. • Chamois: 01.08.-15.12. • Marmots: 15.08.-30.09. • Black cock: Art. 9 bird directive - exeptional hunt • Roe deer: 01.06.-31.10. (I and II), 01.06.-31.12. (III), 01.06.-31.12. (Goats) • Red deer: 01.08.-05.11. (I), 01.06.-31.12. (antlers), 01.08.-31.12. (II and III)

Tyrolean hunting conditions:

Valid hunting licence, which is necessary to obtain the Tyrolean hunting card. For the Tyrolean hunting card, you will need 2 passport photos as well as a (notarized) copy of your hunting licence, or even the original. The leading hunter will take a note of the number on your hunting card. A deposit towards the hunting card fee is not possible!

Further essentials: a suitable weapon, preferably after consultation, necessary ammunition, ready-set binoculars. A practice shot will take place before the hunt begins.

Payment:

Please pay the stated price within 14 days of obtaining the hunting date information.

Cancellations:

If you wish to cancel a hunt up to 7 days before the planned date, a cancellation fee of € 100 for the corresponding game type will be added to the bill. In the case of later cancellations before the planned hunting date, a fee of € 100 for the booked hunting days will be added to the bill, at the most up to the arranged price. In the case of no-show on the planned hunting date (practice shoot), the full arranged must nevertheless be paid.

Shooting:

The hunt is always an individual one. The shooting must be discussed in detail before the hunt starts and the exacting shooting plan taken into consideration amongst the hunters. The shoot can only start, when the game can be communicated with and be opened for hunt by the hunter. A demand of a particular kind of trophy is not possible. Appropriate taxes are connected with the shooting, even when your hunt doesn't meet the expected quality and price estimation.

Trophies:

The trophies are boiled and then handed over to the hunter. They will be valid only after the full payment of the bill and subsequent viewing of the trophy and handed to the shooter.

The shooter must make his trophy available to the cost of the hunting administration. The collection of the trophy will follow to the shooters' costs and risk. The game (with cover) will remain in the hands of the hunting administration for eventual valuation. Should the trophy be prepared, we will be happy to recommend a good address for you!

Guidance fees per day:

Stay: € 100,00 • Chamois: € 100,00 • Marmot: € 30,00 • Black cock: € 70,00 • Roe buck: € 70,00 • Alpine ibex: € 100,00

The hunting bill can only be paid cash on site!

Practice shots/misfires/hunting weaponry:

Before the start of the hunt, at least 2 practice shots will be exercised. Should no practice shots be carried out before the leader, these will be counted as misfires ( no game shot ), and will be added with the appropriate taxes to the bill.

The use of certain shots for the hunt on cock and the marmot is not permitted. Should the guest hunter use the leaders weapons for the practice shots and hunt, a price supplement will be added per shot for the collective bullet fee to the bill.

Welding:

You should only shoot from the correct distance to hunt the game. Welding is not particularly a favourite sort of practice. If this is the case, the hunt will be interrupted and searched by a sniffer dog. If a welded piece is found by a guest hunter after the hunt has taken place, the shooter must settle the difference between the welding fee and the shooting tax, followed by the trophy.

Dogs:

It is forbidden to take your own dogs to the hunt – hunting dogs included!

Liability:

The practice of hunting and travelling within the hunting zones will take place at your own risk

In Austria, the game originates from an ancient Germanic tradition. Nobody ever hunts the shots of this. The philosophy of the hunt is based of the hunt for the game, the prey, the correct communication, and then on the shooting.

A tip for all hunters: please respect the surroundings and their customs! A hunter is always respected in Austria, with or without his weapon.
