The "Golden gate to the glacier" connects the Giggijoch with the glacier.
Snow is guaranteed due to the high altitude and due to the "golden gate". Even more modern ski lifts offer comfort and high skiing quality in Sölden. The new 8 seater cable car at the Tiefenbach glacier replaced the old chair lift and the t-bar lift. This new cable car, the Tiefenbachkoglbahn, carries you to an altitude of 3.250m.
