The Ötztal Cycle Trail
50 kilometres across the Ötztal Alps
Cyclists can enjoy the unique variety of landscapes across four stages over a distance of more than 50 kilometres. Starting in Haiming at 670 m, the cycle trail runs through the entire Ötztal Valley and eventually ends in Sölden at 1,377 m. Bikers pass through five climatic stages: from the sunny dry climate at the valley’s entrance, to the open expanse of Umhausen and Längenfeld, all the way to the route’s destination in Sölden, surrounded by mighty 3,000m peaks.
Rest stops and eBike charging stations available along the way are clearly marked. In addition, you can, of course, always take a break between the exciting and varied excursion destinations and activities along the trail. As it extends towards the end of the Ötztal Valley and is far away from the main road, the cycle trail becomes even safer and is ideal for families.
