Climbing in Ötztal

HIGH UP IN THE ÖTZTAL

Our valley isn’t known as the valley of unlimited climbing possibilities for nothing. May we share with you some impressive facts? 8 secured via ferrata routes and 20 varied climbing gardens as well as an outdoor rope course to provide plenty of fun and challenges for young and old. 749 official single pitches and 58 multi-pitches are waiting to provide your own climbing experience. More than 18829 metres in altitude can be conquered, for which a total of 12552 eyelets and hooks have been anchored in the rock.

Whether it’s a family outing or an ambitious training session in the rock, in the Ötztal climbing fans and mountaineers get their money’s worth thanks to the wide range of difficulty levels (2-11). An added bonus: You are constantly climbing amidst a magnificent natural backdrop and enjoy breath-taking views of the surrounding mountains. A true climbing El Dorado.
