Summer holiday with children
ADVENTURE PLAYGROUND - NATURE
Summer time is adventure time. In our family hotel im Ötztal at an altitude of 1560 m young and old experience joint adventures in and around the Falknehof. With wonderful specials such as a camp fire, a slack line, a varied outdoor area and much more, your children will certainly not be bored. Even in bad weather, entertainment is provided – with cosy cinema evenings, playing in the indoor children’s area or playing table football.
What can be done in the fresh air? Simple: experience real action in our outdoor playground! Our motto is: jump in the mud! Because the most exciting playground is still nature itself. While playing in the mud you can build a super dam and great water channels. Or watch the ants as they busily drag the smallest twigs and grasses onto their ant hill. You can simply carve bows and arrows out of branches. In the evening before bed, sit around the campfire and tell stories.
Excursion destinations for explorers
MOUNTAIN ADVENTURES FOR YOUNG AND OLD
Alongside the Adeventure playground - nature there are many interesting excursion destinations. Discover interesting places such as Ötzidorf. Search for the magic crystal in the WidiVersum or experience spectacular displays in the Birds of Prey Park. Go on a Geocachingtreasure hunt and find small hidden treasure chests.
NO PLACE FOR BOREDOM - LETS GO!
8 am – Clean your teeth then straight to the large breakfast buffet – maybe the freshly baked bread will still be warm? Get strength from the fresh seasonal fruits, homemade jams (just like grandmas’), fresh egg dishes and various specialities that the season has to offer. .
10 am – After gathering strength it’s on with the hiking boots. Grab the Ötztal card and this time it’s off to the Stuiben waterfall. I’m especially looking forward to this – it is the highest waterfall in Tyrol! Maybe this year I’ll be brave enough to go on the climbing route with Mum and Dad.
1 pm – Before the descent the appetite returns. Thankfully we filled our bags after breakfast with everything you need for a Tyrolean snack. Now we just need to find the best place in the field for a picnic – not so easy with such amazing choice.
3 pm – Back at the hotel my friends are waiting at the football pitch. After the match it’s off to the water park. Following that a rest in the garden with Mum and Dad is just what’s needed..
6 pm – Now a quick dip in the swimming pool and get ready for our evening meal – the appetite is huge. I wonder what we will have for diner this evening? The children’s menu never fails to please, will it be my favourite?
After dessert it’s a visit to the camp fire. But the legs and eyes are beginning to feel tired. Finally it’s time to go to bed so that we can do the same again tomorrow – or something completely different – after all, there is so much to discover in Niederthai.
