Narrenkogel

From the large tree with signs at the car park near the tourist office in Niederthai, a mountain path leads in the direction of Narrenkogel. You hike across a flowery meadow on which you turn left at the sign "Narrenkogel".

Now a steep climb leads you through the mountain forest to a flat herb meadow, the Berglealm, The path passes two beautiful wooden huts. Be sure to keep an eye out for the alpine roses, stone pines and juniper bushes. The nature shows itself is so colourful.
From the alpine pasture you turn right and hike on a steep path through the high forest to the tree line. Carry on climbing up the mountain ridge to the summit.
